Position: Production Operative

Location: Bridgwater

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 6-6)

Pay: £14.98/hour, approximately £31,351/year

Additional pay: 2x basic hourly rate for bank holidays, 1.5x for overtime

We are currently recruiting for a Bottle Supply Production Operative within our Bottle Supply Department at Müller Bridgwater Dairy.

This role involves operating manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality products. You should have a strong team ethic, be results-driven, and proactive.

Shift details: Working on a 4 on 4 off basis: 2 days (6AM-6PM), followed by 2 nights (6PM-6AM), then 4 days off.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product packaging meets specifications, report defects
• Verify the quality of packing film for color and size
• Properly wrap goods and report faults
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Report fixing needs
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Report health and safety concerns
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and food safety policies
• Perform other duties related to quality packaging as required

Key skills & experience:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing
• IT skills supporting Microsoft Office and in-house systems
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
