Job description

A well-established manufacturer based in Newmarket is looking to grow its production team with practical, hands-on Production Operatives. You'll be working closely with metal components such as evaporator coils and condenser units, playing a key role in the brazing stage of the build process. While previous experience in brazing, soldering, or factory work would be a bonus, it's not a must. If you have a strong background in manufacturing or production and a can-do attitude, we'd love to hear from you.

Production Operative Duties:

• Brazing metal components together with precision and care
• Prepping metals and materials
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting with other workshop duties as required
• Working flexibly to meet customer demands
• Operating in a chilled, dusty environment with moving machinery and forklift trucks nearby
• Handling repetitive and heavy lifting safely

Pay & Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30
• Friday, 07:30 - 12:30
• Starting pay from 12.25 p/hour
• Overtime opportunities available
• Temporary-to-permanent position
