Production Operative

Production Operative - £12.21ph | Temp to Perm | Full Time | Maldon

We're excited to be partnering with a leading food product manufacturer based in the Maldon area, currently looking to recruit a Production Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.

About the Role:

Working as part of the production team, the production operative will be responsible for operating both semi-automated and fully automated machinery on the production lines. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience in manufacturing and production (ideally in food production or automated line environments)
2. Flexible approach to working hours
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Ability to work well within a team and independently
5. A proactive, reliable work ethic
6. Reasonable fitness level (able to lift up to 20kgs)
7. Own transport is advantageous due to location

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating various packing and production line machinery
2. Supporting general warehouse duties
3. Cleaning and maintaining production areas at the end of the shift

Pay & Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating (flexibility required for occasional shift changes)

Pay rate: £12.21ph
