Job summary

A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a Manufacturing Quality Inspector in Lincoln. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, managing data, and applying quality procedures. This role requires experience in machining and the ability to read technical drawings.

Job description

Position: Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week on shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm), alternating weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and manage data accurately within the system.
2. Utilise production fixtures for manufacturing products.
3. Use inspection fixtures and gauges to ensure product quality standards.
4. Demonstrate competency in visual inspection methods.
5. Follow and refer to Quality procedures.
6. Read and interpret drawings to facilitate manufacturing processes.
7. Maintain strategic consumable supplies within the work area.
8. Participate in regular meetings to discuss quality issues.
9. Report any issues affecting production.
10. Implement workload assignments received from the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to refer to and apply Quality procedures.
• Experience in machining and fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Familiarity with NCR processes.

Security Clearance: BPSS clearance required.
