Production Operative

Staffing Match is proud to be recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy and growing food manufacturing site in Hetton-le-Hole. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work in a clean, modern facility with full training provided and long-term career prospects.

As a Production Operative, you'll be working across different areas of the site, including material handling, weigh booth operation, labelling, powder mixing, and liquid sachet machine operation. You will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and meet food safety and hygiene standards including GMP, HACCP, and BRCGS.

The role involves manual handling, working on your feet, and using basic IT for data entry and paperwork. You'll also be expected to maintain a clean and organised workspace, wear correct PPE, and work effectively with your team to meet daily production targets.

Previous experience in a food production or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants looking to start or grow their careers - full training will be given.

Shifts available include:

• Fixed Days (7:00am - 3:00pm)

• Fixed Afternoons (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

• Fixed Nights (11:00pm - 7:00am)

• Rotating Day/Afternoon

• Full rotation including nights

Pay rates range from 12.21 to 15.41 per hour, depending on the shift. Overtime is paid at time and a half or double time, with a pay increase after 12 weeks. Weekly pay provided.
