General Operative

Location: Houghton Le Spring

Due to growth our client is looking for a General Operative to join our team. This position is responsible for the packing and stacking of products in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have a production background and be able to work in a team environment. This is a day shift Monday to Friday 8am-16.00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Working in a clean room environment
* Encapsulating medicines
* Maintain safe, clean, and efficient operation of equipment.
* Ensure that all machines are running properly.
* Packing and stacking.
* Ensure that the quality of our product is consistent with the standards we set for ourselves.
* Keep production area clean and organised.
* Report any equipment or process issues to appropriate management.
* Work with Production Supervisor to ensure that production goals are being met.
* Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
