Base pay range

Location: Wakefield

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, either 6.30am-3pm or 7.30am-4pm

Rate of pay: £12.21/hr

First Choice is currently recruiting on behalf of our customer based in Horbury, Wakefield. They are a busy production company, manufacturing wooden frame structures & roof trusses for bespoke construction projects throughout the UK.

We are seeking a Production Operative to assist with operating automated bench saws, preparing, and cutting wood to specified dimensions.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role within the production sector.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manual handling of materials
• Preparing materials for cutting
• Setting and operating saws
• Checking quality of materials post-cutting
• Stacking/storing cut materials
• General housekeeping and warehouse duties as required
