Production Operative
  • Location: Haslemere
  • Salary: £25,000 - £25,500 per annum
  • Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm


Join our team as a Production Operative in Haslemere to join a successful and growing business. This role is ideal for someone passionate about manufacturing processes and supply chain management, or someone looking to learn the world of production.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Goods In / Goods Out: Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods including blocking, putting away, and returning items.
  • Sampling & Blending: Participate in the sampling and blending processes as required.
  • Stock Control: Conduct cycle-counting and replenishment activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Packing: Handle canning of liquids (25kg and above), equipment cleaning, palletisation, and labelling.
  • Documentation: Compile and generate necessary documentation such as checklists, manifests, and handle dangerous goods with compliance.
  • Shipping Coordination: Use supplier, freight, and partner websites to book shipments, and record and report any discrepancies like short or damaged deliveries.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Capable of efficiently picking, packing, labelling, and handling shipments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths & English.
