Job summary

Premier Work Support is seeking Production Operatives for a Rainham, Essex factory. You will handle cooked and raw foods, perform manual handling, cleaning and packing duties, and follow strict safety and hygiene procedures.

Induction includes Health, Hygiene and Allergen level 2 and chemical training. The role runs on dayshifts from 9:00 to 20:15, Thursday to Sunday or Sunday to Wednesday, with overtime during busy periods and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Manual handling experience in a factory setting preferred.
• Basic cleaning and packing duties required in food production.
• Must complete Health, Hygiene and Allergen level 2 training.
• Chemical safety training provided on induction.

Job description

Our well established client in the food production sector are seeking Production Operatives for their factory in Rainham, Essex.

You will be required to work in a Factory environment dealing with cooked and raw food where there will be manual handling, cleaning and packing food whilst adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations. You will be required to complete a short course on Health, Hygiene and Allergen level 2 and chemical training.

This role will involve dayshifts starting 9.00am to 8.15pm and the shift pattern runs from Thursday to Sunday or Sunday to Wednesday with overtime in busy periods so weekend working is a must including Sundays

This is a temporary position, however there may be an opportunity for a permanent position after a qualifying period, subject to performance, timekeeping and attendance.
