Production Operative

Location: Grantham

Type: Temporary to Permanent (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm shifts, rotating weekly)

Salary: £13.45ph

Start Date: ASAP

Our long-standing client is seeking an experienced Production Operative to join their expanding team. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position based in Grantham on biweekly rotating shifts of 6am - 2pm and the following week 2pm - 10pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Handling and racking goods as well as labelling and storing.
2. Operating Cutting Machinery, tooling or working in an engineering environment.
3. Unloading large rolls and setting up the machines for cutting.
4. Ensuring the warehouse is clean and tidy, reporting damages.
5. Picking items from the warehouse, packing accurately against delivery notes.
6. Understanding measurements and dimensions.

Qualifications:

1. Experience using Cutting Machinery, tooling or working in an engineering environment.
2. Team player with excellent work ethic and a good sense of humour.
3. Valid UK Driving Licence (ideal but not essential).
4. Counterbalance Forklift Licence (ideal but not essential).
