The Role:

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our Wearables and Leisure team based in Gosport.

Key responsibilities for the Production Operative role include but are not limited to:

1. Support design & pattern teams in the development of new product prototypes; adjust machinery as needed and according to training - this may involve becoming certified or licensed as competent to operate or adjust that machinery.
2. Carry out operational tasks to Survitec standards, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standard.
3. Carry out installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete those allocated tasks.
4. Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out standard preparation, inspection, or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instructions.

About You:

• Educated to High School level with 2 GCSEs or equivalent.
• Experience using a sewing machine and confident in your ability.
• Some experience of operating complex machinery is desirable, but not necessary as full training is provided.
