Starting Salary: £26,267 P/A + Benefits (rising annually)
Shifts: 6am - 2pm (2pm - 10pm when required and shift premiums apply)
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

As a result of our continued success, we are recruiting for a Production Operative with a background in Manufacturing to join our award-winning company at our Mells site. Internally, this role is known as Operations Team Member.

So, what's the mission?
You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties relating to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality concrete products, using all operational techniques and creating the UK's leading concrete products. You will be required to use manual handling tools, including powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. You’ll work in an environment where safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets are the norm!

You will work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday (6am—2pm), with occasional overtime on Saturdays (6am—2pm). We require you to be flexible on the shift pattern and overtime as requirements may change during your employment (for example, you may also be required to work a 2pm—10pm shift).

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Previous experience or understanding of working within a Manufacturing Production Plant
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Good level of English
  • Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is advantageous
  • Current accredited FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
