Job summary

SF Partners in Eccleshall is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site. This hands-on role involves operating machinery, monitoring performance and quality while helping meet production targets safely and efficiently.

You will rotate between day and night shifts, maintain high standards of 5S housekeeping and record hourly data to support traceability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery per standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and record hourly production data.

• Escalate faults or performance issues when needed.
• Complete production records to maintain traceability.
• Carry out cleaning and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Support technical trials and production projects.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and material waste.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S standards across the working area.
• Work in line with quality, health & safety and environmental procedures.

Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights)

Week 1 - 06:45hrs to 19:00hrs Monday to Thursday (4 days)

Week 2 18:45hrs to 07:00hrs Monday to Wednesday (3 nights)

The Role

• Setting up and operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures
• Monitoring machine performance and recording hourly production data
• Identifying and resolving production or quality issues
• Escalating faults or performance issues when additional support is required
• Completing production records to maintain full product traceability
• Carrying out cleaning and maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Supporting technical trials and production projects
• Identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and material waste
