Production Operatives

Shirebrook, Derbyshire

Continental shift pattern: 4 on/4 off (6.00am-6.00pm/6.00pm-6.00am)

Pay from: 13 per hour

This is a temporary to permanent position

You will be required to complete an initial assessment prior to your start date.

Our client is a market leader in their field and currently looking to recruit a number of production operatives to strengthen their team due to an ongoing business demand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Machine minding
  • Packing
  • Quality work
  • Lift and put raw ingredients into mixers (up to 25kgs)
  • Operating machinery according to product requirements
  • Undertaking necessary check such temperature, Ph and viscosity
  • Competing associated paperwork
  • Cleaning of production equipment and work area
  • Labelling, packing and palletising the end product
  • Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements
  • Ensure all work areas are kept to a high standard in relation to cleanliness

Key requirements:

  • Production experience
  • Must be a team player, with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent attention to detail is beneficial for this role
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Good attitude
  • Must have a good level of the English language
