Job summary

Manpower is recruiting for a Production Operative in Stoney Stanton (LE9 4JJ). You will work Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, earning £14.07 per hour (42.5 hours per week) and overtime at £21.10 per hour.

Free on-site parking, PPE provided, and comprehensive training are offered, with MyPath online courses for development. Applicants should have a full driving licence; experience in production, manufacturing, construction, or labouring is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Manual handling ability and physical fitness important.
• Experience in production roles is advantageous.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets and rotate tasks as required.
• Load and unload cylinder vehicles as required.
• Carry out cylinder re-qualification activities when requested.
• Ensure client standards are followed during filling.
• Keep yard area clean and orderly.

Expectations of the role

• Successful candidates will require a full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring highly beneficial
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up too a maximum weight of 47kgs
• Working outdoors in all weathers - resilience is key
• Physical work load
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict control and quality procedures

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets. Rotate on Cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Loading and unloading cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard area.
