Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Production Operative for a well-established manufacturer in Dronfield, Derbyshire. You will operate press machines, perform quality checks, and pack products for dispatch in a fast-moving production environment.

The role is a full-time, permanent-to-temporary position with 12-hour split shifts (Tue–Fri, Mondays off). Hourly pay starts at £12.71 with overtime at £19.06, and the contract ends with a permanent arrangement after successful probation.

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or machine operating role would be desirable but not essential
• Comfortable working with machinery and automated equipment
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Be able to follow processes, procedures and safety standards

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Dronfield, Derbyshire.

Our client produces inoculant inserts through a unique powder metallurgical production process, resulting in homogeneous and tightly sized controlled insert, and are now looking to add production operatives to their team in Dronfield.

Duties will include operating press machines as well as quality control and packing of products ready for dispatch

Duration: This is a full time temp to perm position

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £12.71 per hour with overtime paid at £19.06

Working Hours: Working hours are based on 12 hour split shifts Tuesday to Friday (Mondays off)Week 1 - 0600-1800Week 2 - 1800-0600
