I am looking for a Production Operative with a strong manufacturing/production background to join our client, BAE Systems, at their Radway Green site. The role is focused specifically on following the Manufacturing instructions & following the guidance of the Cell Leader.

Role Responsibilities

1. Routine duties & assisting other operatives.
2. Preparation of raw materials for processing.
3. Packaging finished goods.
4. Loading vehicles.
5. Cleaning of work areas/maintaining standards.
6. Report to the Cell Leader.

Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification Requirements

Essential

1. Competent in Data Capture & SAP.
2. Experience in working in a manufacturing / production environment.
3. Strong Interpersonal/Team Management Skills.
4. Awareness of Continuous Improvement Tools.
5. Capable of maintaining appropriate standards.
6. Innovation and Problem Solving.
7. Two-way Communication.
8. Drive and Commitment.

Desirable

1. ESM Awareness or equivalent.
2. Good understanding of lean principles.
3. Quality Awareness.
4. Ability to demonstrate leadership.

Pay Rates

Standard shift (07:30-16:30) - £16.24p/hr
Two-Shift (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 swap weekly) - £19.16p/hr PAYE
Three-Shift (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00 swap weekly) - £20.30p/hr PAYE
