Job description

Production Operative


£12.50PH. Corby, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm [1 hour lunch break]. Permanent, Immediate Start. Pension, Free Parking.


Our client has over 30 years' experience in the manufacturing and distribution of Wet Paint, High Performance Coatings and Powder Coating and boasts one of the largest product portfolios in the UK, working closely with some of the world's leading paint manufacturers.


Role:


  • Mixing formulations to make the desired colours for tins and aerosols.
  • Colour matching, quality control and recording all new formulations.
  • Weighing out small quantities of powder and keeping the mixing room clean and tidy.
  • Housekeeping of mixing area, ensuring all H&S regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Supporting in the warehouse with goods in/out as and when required.
  • Preparing goods for dispatch, labelling, and matching up delivery notes and any associated paperwork for production.

Candidate:


  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of tasks.
  • Passion to produce high-quality products.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good IT Skills, with a willingness to learn; extra training will be provided.

You will be joining a small family-run manufacturing company, established for over 30 years, with an enviable reputation in their field of expertise. You will be reporting directly to the supervisor as part of a small production team. The organization name is synonymous with delivering outstanding quality service and is keen to recruit a Mixing Operative who strives to offer the same. A counterbalance license would be advantageous but not essential.
