A local recruitment agency is seeking a Production Operative for a busy manufacturing facility in Congleton. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a production environment and demonstrate strong observational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and good time management. This role requires both teamwork and the ability to function independently, with shifts rotating every week. Benefits include 5 weeks of holiday plus 8 bank holidays annually and additional rest days in a rotating schedule.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for Production Operative that will help to support our clients busy manufacturing facility in Congleton.

We are looking for someone who ideally has previous experience working within a production environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the product quality consistently meets and exceeds our customer specifications and production targets are met by focusing on continual process improvement.

Key skills required are:

• excellent observational skills are essential


• the ability to work well under pressure


• the ability to use own initiative and resolve any problems that may arise


• PPT/FLT/Bendi license would be an advantage but not essential


• the ability to work well as part of a team and also function alone without direct oversight


• the ability to prioritise daily tasks to maintain efficiency and housekeeping standards


• ability to work in role that requires manual handling


• good time management skills with the ability to multi task

Benefits:

With the rotating shift pattern, you get 7 rest days in every 5 week block. In addition to this you will get 5 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays each year.

The shifts are:

• Week 1: Monday - Wednesday (6am - 6pm)


• Week 2: Thursday - Friday (6am - 6pm)


• Week 3: Monday - Wednesday (6pm - 6am, nights)


• Week 4: Monday - Thursday (6am - 6pm)


• Week 5: Monday - Wednesday (6pm - 6am, nights)
