Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Production Operative at Coleshill, near Birmingham, to work across the cutting and palletising area. The role includes operating the brick cutting machine, loading blocks, monitoring the process, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are maintained.

You will join a team in a dusty, physically demanding environment, with shifts Tuesday to Friday (6:00am–6:00pm) and Tuesday to Thursday (6:00pm–6:00am).

Qualifications

• Production Operative experience in manufacturing or factory settings.
• Ability to work safely in dusty, physically demanding environments.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Load blocks into the brick cutting machine.
• Monitor cutting process as blocks are cut into sections.
• Manually handle and move finished products onto pallets.
• Carry out visual quality checks on finished products.

Production Operative - 3 Month Rolling

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Days and Nights

• Tuesday to Friday - 6:00am - 6:00pm

• Tuesday to Thursday - 6:00pm - 6:00am

Pay Rate: £16.36 gross per hour

The Role

As a Production Operative you will play a key part in the manufacturing process by operating within the cutting and palletising area of the plant.

Your duties will include:

• You will be loading blocks into the brick cutting machine.
• You will be monitoring the cutting process as blocks are cut into multiple sections.
• You will be manually handling and moving finished products onto pallets.
• You will be required to Carry out visual quality checks on finished products.
• You are expected to maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Supporting production targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

• You will have previous experience as a Production Operative, Machine Operative or Manufacturing Operative
• You will have experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial production or similar environments is advantageous.
• you can prove that you have the ability to work safely in a dusty, dirty and physically demanding environment.
• You will demonstrate good spoken and written English communication skills.
• You will display a strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude and effectively as part of a team.
• You must be physically fit.
