SMART Balustrades Ltd in Burntwood, Staffordshire, is seeking a hands-on Production Operative to join our growing UK manufacturing team. You will help manufacture and assemble stainless steel and aluminium balustrade and handrail systems, read manufacturing drawings, measure, cut, drill, tap, and TIG weld components to correct standards.
You should have shop-floor experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

We’re growing our production team at SMART Balustrades Ltd and are looking for a skilled, hands‑on and motivated Production Operative to join us at our factory in Burntwood, Staffordshire.
This isn’t a role where every day is spent doing the same repetitive task. You’ll be involved in manufacturing and assembling the stainless steel and aluminium components that become finished balustrade and handrail systems installed on construction projects across the UK.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
As part of our production team, you’ll be involved in the manufacture and preparation of our balustrade and handrail systems, including:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality work and has the drive to become an important part of our production team.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Experience welding stainless steel and holding a CSCS Card would be beneficial, but are not essential.
Most importantly, we want someone who takes pride in producing quality work and wants to become a valued part of the SMART Team.
