Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Chard to support a long-established producer of soft mould cheeses, including Somerset Brie and Camembert. Overtime is paid at £27.80 per hour, with options for full-time or part-time hours on a Monday–Friday or 4 on/4 off pattern.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; you’ll stand for long periods, lift moulds, and operate machinery in a warm environment. PPE and on-site support are offered.

Production Operative for our client, who is known for over 40 years of expertise in producing traditionally ripened soft mould cheeses, including award winning Somerset Brie, Camembert, and goat's cheeses.

Production Operatives in Chard.

Overtime rate on peak weeks is £27.80 per hour

This role offers both full and part-time hours Monday - Friday or 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Please note that candidates may be assigned to either shift pattern depending on their availability and business requirements.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, your duties will involve working in a warm environment, stacking and lifting moulds whilst also operating machinery.

You will also be required to carry out general cleaning duties.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker would be comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to carry out manual handling duties, such as bending and lifting, whilst being able to understand and follow instructions.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided.
