Job summary

First Base Employment seeks Production Operatives for Bridgwater. This full-time role follows rotating shifts: 6.00am – 2.00pm and 2.00pm – 10.00pm, with responsibilities across the production line.

You will perform visual inspections, operate machinery, conduct quality checks, follow SOPs, keep the area clean, and adapt to other areas as needed while prioritising safety and attendance.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Perform visual inspections of all products.
• Operate various production machinery, including weighing, mixing, and pressing equipment.

• Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times.
• Work flexibly and be willing to be transferred to other production areas as needed.
• Perform all work activities in accordance with health and safety requirements.

• Work well under the pressure of deadlines.
