This role is being advertised on behalf of Neon Contracts who are operating as an employment business.

We are looking for production operatives to work in a busy leading manufacturer of plastic conduit, this will be for a new shift that is being introduced.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday

6.00 - 2.00pm

Salary £12.21 + paid break

• Loading products on to machine/production line
• Housekeeping on all extrusion line
• Monitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specification
• Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan/targets on each line
• Coiling on a very busy production line
• Working safe in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work
  
  

Required Skills or qualifications: -

·Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (min 2 years’ experience) training will be given (desirable)

• Good team working and communication
• Positive and pro-active attitude
• Be able to work unsupervised and using own initiative
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Must have an excellent eye for detail.

Please note this work will be working in a very busy and noisy production environment.
