Production Operative

Are you an experienced Production Operative looking to further develop your career?
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a key manufacturing company based near Alton. This is a full time permanent position and will be offering training to become a CNC Operator and Setter.

Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating two difference CNC Machines
- Working on CNC Lathes
- Inspecting work to ensure they meet quality standards
- Reading technical drawings
- De-burring and Linishing
- Manual Turning and Milling
- Goods in which will involve heavy lifting

Requirements for this CNC Operator role:
- In-depth production or assembly experience
- A keen interest in engineering
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a small manufacturing team

The Role:
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
- Pay rate negotiable depending on experience
