Overview

Production Operative for our client – a leading contact manufacturer of global health and beauty products. Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Alton.

Pay and shifts

• Rate of pay: Days £13.90 per hour; Nights £14.76 per hour
• Overtime: Days £20.01 per hour; Nights £20.87 per hour
• Hours: Full-time role working 7 shifts in a 2-week period; every second weekend
• Working hours: 10am to 10pm; 10pm to 10am

Responsibilities

As a Production Operative you will be responsible for running line equipment to support the production of a variety of healthcare, toiletry, and pharmaceutical products, and will support other production line personnel in achieving the targeted output. You will work within clearly defined processes and procedures and product specifications while ensuring full compliance with Quality, Health and Safety at Work, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Ideal candidate

Our ideal Production Operative has excellent attention to detail and is happy working in a busy warehouse environment, both alone and as part of a team. You should be physically active, able to bend, lift and handle materials on the shop floor, and comfortable standing for long periods.

Experience as a Production Operative is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
