Job summary

Burton is seeking an experienced Production Operative in Alfreton to support concrete production in a fast-paced environment. You will set up moulds, pour and level concrete, and use abrasive wheels to prepare components while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Setting up moulds accurately to prepare for concrete production.
• Pouring and levelling concrete to ensure high-quality finished products.
• Using an abrasive wheel to clean re‑usable cast‑in components such as steel pins.
• Cutting and drilling rubber pads that are fitted into the concrete.
• Performing concrete repairs and general finishing duties with attention to detail.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the production area.
• Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times.
