Bouygues Energies and Serviceshave a role for a Performance & Production MonitoringLead. In this role you will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and monitoring the execution of daily construction activities within the Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) scope of the HPC project.Based at Hinkley Point C we are involved the construction that will house the two European Pressurized Reactor (EPR) nuclear reactors. With a total capacity of 3.2 gigawatts, the Hinkley Point C plant will supply 7% of the UK's electricity consumption and provide electricity to over 5 million homes.

The role

You would reportto the Performance Manager, the role ensures that works are performed in line with the validated short-term plan (Construction activities plan for the next 10 days Shift “S+1”) and that the necessary preparation and readiness conditions are met to maximise the execution productivity and performance on site.

The role is directly responsible for the preparation, coordination, and validation of the Shift S+1 Installation Plan, ensuring that building access, materials, documentation, and workforce resources are fully aligned. In parallel, the Site Performance & Production Monitoring Lead prepares and maintains a contingency "backup work" plan to mitigate the risk of unforeseen blockers or constraints.

The Site Performance & Production Monitoring Lead acts as a key interface between the field workforce (Black Hats, construction management) and the site team, ensuring effective coordination, accurate monitoring of production, timely resolution of site issues, and structured reporting to support project performance.

Skills

  • Proven relevant experience in construction site operations, with exposure to planning, performance monitoring, and engineering coordination – ideally within nuclear, energy, or large infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of planning cycles, shift coordination, and construction workflows
  • Highly credible in the field – able tochallenge and support Black Hats and field supervisors constructively
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts to effectively interface with Design Back Office and Site Engineering teams
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools – able to generate structured reports, dashboards, and performance analytics
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills – confident leading cross-functional meetings and working across disciplines (field, planning, engineering, QS, and management)
