Production Merchandiser

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for my client, a market-leading supplier based in Leicester. They are looking for a Production Merchandiser with relevant experience in the fashion sector.

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. The role involves managing every process from confirming orders, raising POs, to delivery. Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser, you will have the opportunity to learn and support across the critical path, liaising with factories and customers.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage the Critical Path for all customer orders to ensure timely deliveries.
2. Raise purchase orders and liaise with customers regarding approvals and delivery schedules.
3. Analyze market trends, stay updated with fashion trends and conduct competitor analysis.
4. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and design teams.
5. Obtain customer prices, negotiate, and send specifications for quotes.
6. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.

Person Specification:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Preferably experience in wholesale or production merchandising roles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
