Job summary

TRP RECRUITMENT is seeking a Production Merchandiser for a fast fashion supplier in London. You will drive the full production lifecycle from development through delivery, ensuring products meet quality standards and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in womenswear, short lead times, and a solid understanding of the fast fashion supply chain. Moroccan production knowledge is highly advantageous, and you will work in a busy, supportive team with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working on the supplier side is essential.
• Previous experience in a fashion production merchandising role, ideally across womenswear multi-product.
• Strong short-lead production experience required.
• Experience working with Morocco would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the fast fashion supply chain and production process.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the critical path with key seasonal and production deadlines.
• Overseeing order management from confirmation through to final delivery.
• Working closely with factories and suppliers to ensure on-time, high-quality production.
• Building and maintaining relationships with factories, suppliers and buyers.
• Chasing production, development and fit samples to keep timelines on track.
• Managing fabric, trims and lab-dip submissions within deadlines.
• Monitoring short-lead production programmes and adapting to changes.
• Identifying and flagging potential production issues and resolving with Head of Production.
• Supporting Garment Technologists, Designers and Production teams with updated critical paths.
• Communicating with overseas factories, including Morocco, clearly and timely.

We are working closely with a highly successful, established fast fashion supplier who are looking for a Production Merchandiser to join their growing London team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across womenswear multi-product ranges for major high street retailers and supermarkets. You'll be responsible for driving the full production lifecycle from development through to delivery, ensuring product is manufactured to the highest standard, on time, and in line with customer expectations.

The role would suit someone who is highly fashion-focused, commercially minded and experienced within a fast-paced supplier environment, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and short lead times.

Experience working with Morocco would be highly advantageous, as would strong experience across short-lead production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the critical path, ensuring all key seasonal and production deadlines are met
• Overseeing order management from confirmation through to final delivery
• Working closely with factories and suppliers to ensure production is delivered on time and to the required quality
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with factories, suppliers and buyers
• Chasing production, development and fit samples to ensure timelines stay on track
• Managing fabric, trims and lab-dip submissions, ensuring approvals are achieved within deadline
• Monitoring short-lead production programmes and reacting quickly to any issues or changes
• Identifying and flagging potential production issues early, working closely with the Head of Production to resolve
• Supporting Garment Technologists, Designers and Production teams with clear and accurate critical path updates
• Managing communication with overseas factories, including Morocco
• Ensuring all PLM systems and Excel documentation are kept accurate and up to date

Person Specification:

• Previous experience working on the supplier side is essential
• Previous experience in a fashion production merchandising role, ideally across womenswear multi-product
• Strong short-lead production experience is required
• Experience working with Morocco would be highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of the fast fashion supply chain and production process
• Strong fabric and garment knowledge with a genuine passion for womenswear and fast fashion
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with PLM systems
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Proactive, solutions-focused and driven to deliver results
