Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is recruiting a Production Manager to lead a team of four production chemists in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. You will oversee the safe manufacture of gases and gas mixtures, manage production schedules and resources, and drive improvements in safety, quality and efficiency.

The role is on-site with commuting distance considered reasonable. A science or engineering degree or significant gas production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in science or engineering or significant gas production experience.
• Knowledge of gas quality measurement and relevant technical standards.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a technical team.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ISO 17034 and Flam/Ox signatory responsibilities would be valuable.

Up to £50,000 DOE + 9% annual bonus + benefits

I'm recruiting a Production Manager to lead a team of four production chemists within a specialist gas business for a Global Leader.

You'll oversee the safe manufacture of high-quality gases and gas mixtures, manage production schedules and resources, and support improvements across safety, quality and efficiency.

We're looking for someone with:

• A science or engineering degree, or significant gas mixture production experience.
• Knowledge of gas quality measurement and relevant technical standards.
• The ability to lead, coach and develop a technical team.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ISO 17034, accredited production processes and Flam/Ox signatory responsibilities would be particularly valuable.
