A manufacturing company in Portishead Point is seeking a Shift Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations and drive a strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have extensive manufacturing experience and a strong grasp of lean principles. Responsibilities include managing team leaders, ensuring quality and safety standards, and developing production schedules. A competitive salary of £55,000 is offered with benefits including pension and holidays.
Shift Production Manager
£55,000 DOE
Our client is a leading manufacturing company with a target turnover of over £40M this year. They are on a mission to exceed there customers' demands and deliver high-quality bespoke products. There manufacturing processes demand a responsive and flexible approach to planning.
As the Shift Production Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a 3-year strategic plan while overseeing day-to-day production operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will provide leadership, management, and direction to the Team Leaders.
Key responsibilities
Shifts & Benefits Package:
* Shift:- 4 on 4 off - 2 days followed by 2 nights, 12hr shifts
* Salary:- £55,000 DOE
* Benefits:- Pension 4% employer and 5% employee, 25 Days Holiday
