Job description

The successful Production Manager will require technical abilities and experience with automation.

Candidates from an engineering background are ideal for this role, specifically in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that production operations run smoothly.

This role is hands-on, with most of your time spent on the shop floor; however, you will have full management responsibilities.

Work Distribution: 70% shop floor / 30% office

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the production process.
  • Implement and monitor operational plans and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Evaluate production performance data, including efficiency, output, and product quality.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
  • Responsible for maintenance costs and quality output.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of process automation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • P & L experience.
  • Process driven.
Working Hours

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary

£36,700

You may be required to travel to other UK depots for onboarding and training.
