• Type: Permanent

Production Manager (Nights)
Rochester | Monday to Thursday 6pm - 6am (44hpw) | £45,000 - £55,000pa

KHR is partnering with a distinguished manufacturer who is on the hunt for a highly efficient and hands-on Production Manager to cover the night shift based from their modern site in Rochester.

Position Overview

As Production Manager, you will be overseeing the production process, and coordinating all production activities, resources and operations.

Ensuring the site adheres to all company policies and maintains high GMP standards at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Oversee manufacturing and production processes during the night shift
2. Coordinate and manage production staff, providing guidance and support
3. Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and equipment issues
4. Ensure compliance with GMP standards and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
6. Plan and schedule production to meet targets and deadlines
7. Ensure the production of high-standard products that meet customer expectations
8. Train and develop production staff to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team
9. Maintain hygienic conditions and ensure adherence to safety protocols
10. Monitor and report on productivity, quality, and performance metrics

Candidate Profile

1. Solid experience in FMCG production/manufacturing environment
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
3. Experience with BRCGS or similar quality management systems
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills
5. Ability to work night shifts and manage a team effectively
6. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
