We're delighted to present an opportunity for a Production Manager to join our award winning Live Production team.

What you'll be doing...

As Production Manager within our world-class Live Production team, you will manage the technical realisation and management of Live, Virtual and Hybrid Events to achieve the best technical solution for projects.

With offices based in London, Manchester and Ashby-de-la-Zouch we offer hybrid working arrangements

Reporting to our Head of Events - Technical, you will have responsibilities across multiple productions at any one time, your role will be varied but will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead onsite and virtual production delivery, ensuring any client and supplier dealings are exercised with the utmost diligence
  • Consider, research and develop the event specification from a technical perspective, including lighting, sound, AV, IT and construction
  • Work with technical suppliers to ensure seamless technical delivery
  • Brief crew, suppliers and update requirements throughout the delivery process, creating necessary crew documents
  • Manage the creation and distribution of action plans to aid project management, including but not limited to timelines, build schedules, show running orders, contact sheets, and crew packs
  • Ensure Live Events quality and sustainability procedures are followed on each project whilst maintaining appropriate records
  • Provide hands-on production management support to virtual/live projects and pitches
  • Create and manage technical budgets
  • Maintain up to date technical knowledge and expertise
What you'll need to have...
  • 1-3 years' experience gained within a Technical or Production Management position
  • A keen understanding of the Events industry and the media/ facilities/ technology available
  • Proven experience managing complex productions with multiple vendors and large crews
  • Deep knowledge of event production workflows, tech specs, and health & safety regulations
  • A good working knowledge of Virtual meeting platforms/technologies (MS Teams and Zoom in particular)
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to own applicable elements of production budgets
  • Good customer service ethic and high expectations of quality
