Job Title: Production Manager - Joinery

Location: Benjamin's Workshop, Bethnal Green, London E2

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Established in 2021, Benjamin's Workshop Ltd is a dynamic bespoke cabinetry joinery company. The company has grown rapidly based on a reputation for high-quality service and craftsmanship. We provide bespoke fitted furniture to prestigious residential and commercial projects across the city. Our client base includes established designers, main contractors, and end-users.

About the role:

  • Monitor and update the company's production schedule.
  • Coordinate work across departments to ensure projects are designed, produced, finished, delivered, and installed on time.
  • Communicate changes and priorities to the team.
  • Oversee projects from design to installation.
  • Monitor project quality, spot potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
  • Maintain client communications throughout the process.
  • Assist with pricing and securing new projects.
  • Manage the Workshop Manager, Sprayer, and on-site Installers, providing leadership to the wider team.

About you:

  • Strong cabinetry joinery background (5+ years).
  • Proven experience at a Project or Production Manager level.
  • Deep understanding of joinery production and finishing processes.
  • Highly competent in managing operational aspects of joinery production.
  • Skilled and enthusiastic written and verbal communicator.
  • Superb personal organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong leader with confident and friendly people management skills.
  • Ability to read architectural and workshop drawings and extract required information.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude.
  • High competence with spreadsheet software like Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ambitious and driven to assume higher levels of responsibility.
