The successful Production Manager will ensure that production planning meets current and future business demands and that activities remain on time and within budget.

Your day-to-day as the successful Production Manager

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including Performance Development Plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
• Proactively manage health and safety on the production floor.
• Lead and drive standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping through Good Manufacturing Practices and BRC standards.
• Manage the training and development of the production team.
• Lead operations' continuous improvement projects through sponsorship and mentoring to achieve desired outcomes.
• Introduce KPIs to drive performance.
• Support company values to foster a positive culture and good employee relationships.
• Develop skills matrices across production areas.
• Proven success in a production management role within Food Manufacturing.
• Understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements, with a history of leading teams to achieve Grade A or above.
• Firsthand knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
• Experience in financial budgetary processes.
• Team player who values collaboration.
