Technique Recruitment Solutions Ltd is working as a recruiter for our manufacturing client. We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager to join our client’s manufacturing & service site based in Leicester. You will lead, manage, and continually develop the production team to achieve functional objectives that support the site/plant and company business plan.

Role responsibilities and summary

• Work closely with engineering, service, and logistics teams to improve site effectiveness, ensure utilization of production facilities, develop people, and promote a lean culture.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and GDPR regulations.
• Facilitate continuous improvement discussions and quality circles to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate resources to meet production requirements, ensuring all pieces are laundered on time and in full.

What will make you stand out?

• Proven experience in production, supply chain, and/or service management.
• Degree level education or equivalent, or a proven track record in lean manufacturing/process industries.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and interpret information for continuous improvement.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs.
• Knowledge of Lean (Six Sigma) methodologies, T-Doc System (IHSS, Clinical Solutions), and familiarity with ISO 9001, 13485, LSAS, & MDD93/42/EEC (IHSS, Clinical Solutions) is desirable but not essential.
