Production Manager

Newton Abbot | £40,000 + Bonus | Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm | Full-Time |

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a thriving manufacturing business in the Newton Abbot area, due to continued expansion.

Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing industry, supplying both private and commercial customers. With consistent growth and national reach, they are now looking to strengthen their operations leadership by hiring a Production Manager.

About The Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team of skilled staff, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely. You will encourage a collaborative team culture, deliver high-quality output, and help identify and resolve any production challenges.

  • Salary: £40,000 per annum.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Bonus: Performance-related bonus available.
  • Benefits: Generous company benefits package.
  • Transport: Own transport required due to site location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a production team.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable working environment.
  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on KPIs.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule workloads to meet production targets.
