Overview

A great opportunity for an aspiring Production leader to build a career in a large W. Yorkshire based manufacturing organisation. The organisation are a large, W. Yorkshire based manufacturer, with a high pace, high volume and high SKU manufacturing process - average turnover of circa £65million. They are focused on investing in their workforce, with demonstrable examples of building careers and internal progression.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and leading your team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
  • Ensuring that daily production targets and schedules are met while maintaining quality standards, collaborating with the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
  • Promoting and enforcing health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Optimising production by supporting continuous improvement (CI) initiatives through monitoring and managing resources - including materials, people, and equipment.
Profile

As Production Manager this candidate will have a proficient background in people management within a manufacturing environment or similar, alongside a range of the following:

  • Familiarity with a high SKU, inventory-centric manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • An ambitious, collaborative and data-orientated approach
