Location: West Thurrock (on site)

Hours of work: 35 hours Monday - Friday

Salary: up to £65,000 dependant on experience

Are you a driven and experienced leader in industrial manufacturing looking to make a real impact? Imerys is seeking a Production Manager to oversee our West Thurrock operations, driving safety, efficiency, and innovation across our production processes.

The job role

  • Spearhead and manage daily operations across all production units.
  • Champion Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Drive productivity through innovative thinking, lean principles, and process optimisation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product development, packaging solutions, and customer service excellence.
  • Manage raw material logistics and budgets to optimise cost and supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to ISO and environmental standards.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse and capable team.

You Will

  • Maintain the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you
  • Have strong technical competency in production and logistics.
  • Be experienced managing safety, cost, and environmental performance.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset (Lean/CI qualifications desirable).
  • Have excellent communication and people skills able to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Have a working knowledge of SAP (or similar system).
  • Relevant degree required; French language skills a plus.
  • Have experience with Health and Safety with relevant certification
