Job summary

Production Manager

Portsmouth

Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm

Friday 8.30am – 1.00pm

My client is seeking a Production Manager to assist with Production/Inspection/Planning & Stores in a very busy cable assembly environment.

You will bring the following experiences to the role:

• Oversee all of production. This includes inspection and stores
• Planning production jobs to ensure they meet the customer delivery date
• Raising internal route cards through manufacturing MRP system and then planning these on the Production Management system and Capacity Planner
• Liaising with customers on order progress. Communicating delays or updates to customers as necessary
• Liaise with Purchasing Department on updates on supply for manufacturing
• Attending customer online meetings for OOB updates
• Hold regular Production meetings on a weekly basis

Essentially you will have experience in the role of managing production and most importantly planning. You will need to be extremely organized and work well under pressure in a busy and demanding role
