Job description

Lead and manage the converting team, fostering a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Oversee the converting process, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation to meet production targets.

Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspection and testing procedures.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Monitor and control production costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPI’s to senior management.

Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Drive the strategic plan by leading the ongoing implementation of lean manufacturing best practice utilizing experience with lean methodologies and tools.


REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related technical degree

5+ Years of progressive leadership & learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Servant leadership mindset with experience building and developing teams in the manufacturing sector.

A collaborative spirit that inspires and engage teams to achieve excellence.

Lean Manufacturing and SAP/ERP experience.

Paper manufacturing experience, specifically in converting operations.
