Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are supporting a well-established manufacturer in Wellingborough with their hiring of a Production Manager. This is a hands-on role combining engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing a small team and ensuring productivity, quality and customer requirements are consistently met.

You will produce and amend CAD/CAM drawings, read technical drawings, and work closely with customers and internal departments to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong CAD/CAM drawing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently.
• Experience supervising or managing teams.
• Proven conflict resolution and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

Job Title: CAD/CAM Production Manager

Location: Wellingborough

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Depending on experience

Hours of work: Mon to Fri 08:30-17:00

This is a hands-on position combining engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for supporting production operations, interpreting technical specifications, creating CAD/CAM drawings, and managing a small team to ensure productivity, quality, and customer requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
