Job Description

The Production Manager will be responsible for 2 departments, 4 direct reports and approx 80 team members within a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. They will:

• Ensure the quality, efficiency, and safety of all manufacturing operations
• Manage and optimise the blending and blowmoulding production processes
• Champion, initiate and drive forward Lean and a range of continuous improvement projects.
• Implement process improvements to increase production efficiency
• Drive the strategic development of the Filling, Blending and Blowmoulding Departments
• Champion the development of staff at all levels through training, appraisals, talent reviews and regular briefings
• Ensure compliance with company and industry regulation
• Liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful Production Manager will possess a range of the following:

• Proven experience in a similar position within the FMCG industry
• Demonstrable leadership acumen
• Experience implementing and driving lean principles and continuous improvement
• The ability to work autonomously
• Experience working with complex processes at pace
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strategic thinker
• Strong communication and team management abilities
