Production Manager

Location: Luton

Salary: Up to £50,000

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, early finish on a Friday

I am currently working with a manufacturing client supplying into the automotive industry across the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all production processes daily
2. Ensuring the department/workshop complies with health and safety policies
3. Liaising with other departments (Quality, Engineering, Procurement) to ensure process alignment
4. Implementing lean manufacturing principles (previous experience preferred)
5. Overseeing repairs of production machinery to minimize downtime
6. Assisting with staff training and development plans
7. Managing a team of production staff

Candidates should have a background in automotive or manufacturing sectors, with automotive experience being highly desirable.
