TS International in Dorset (near Bournemouth) is seeking an experienced Production Manager to run the electronics/engineering factory, overseeing 55+ staff across supervisors, assembly, and testing. You will ensure day-to-day operations, quality and H&S, and drive continuous improvement.

• Experience managing production on the shop floor, preferably in electronics or related fields.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Production Manager - Electronics/ Engineering

Expansion has created a career opportunity, within this well-established manufacturer, for an experienced manager - responsible for the day to day running of production and the shop floor.

Within this factory, working at capacity, you will oversee 55+ staff (supervisors, assembly, testing) involved in custom made, bespoke OEM products for the defence, aerospace, and medical industries. You will maintain quality/H&S standards and compliance to aid continuous improvement; ensure cost controls and budgeting goals are achieved and liaise with stakeholders at all levels to resolve issues and streamline workflows

Other responsibilities, aside for motivating and developing the staff, include producing production plans using ERP software; analysis of production times to ensure optimum productivity; ensuring the smooth process of planning work going through the entire factory

This is a key appointment within the management team and the ideal candidate needs to be a strong leader with a background (electronics or related) in production/ production planning. You should be competent in MRP systems, Office & Excel. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in management role with knowledge of industrial component manufacturing.
