Technical Network has been retained by a major building products manufacturer to source an experienced Production Manager. Responsible for one of their key production areas, this role offers a brilliant opportunity for a resilient and driven individual to make a significant impact on a growing UK business that has seen considerable investment in recent years.

Job Details

• Salary: c£40,000
• Location: Worcestershire (commutable from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Bromyard, Ludlow areas)

Job Purpose

• Management of a high-volume, complex manufacturing process, overseeing day-to-day operations against H&S, QCD performance metrics
• Develop and grow your direct reports and the surrounding team to foster a positive and nurturing environment
• Implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures and KPIs across your department
• Manage and mentor a diverse team, promoting engagement and professional growth
• Drive a strong culture of Health & Safety on site
• Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement activities

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or Shift Manager within a fast-paced, volume manufacturing environment, seeking the next career step in an expanding organization
• Experience leading teams in high-volume or large-batch production environments
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills to manage manpower, materials, and production schedules
• Assertive, independent, and self-sufficient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to drive performance against KPIs
• Management or supervisory qualifications such as ILM, NVQ4, HNC, Degree, IOSH
• Time-served or BTEC Mechanical Engineering background, with lean/sigma training highly desirable
