Wartsila Defence Solutions Ltd in Havant is seeking an experienced Production Manager responsible for the overall management and leadership of WDSL's production functions and personnel.

The Production Manager will report directly to the Operations General Manager.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Delivering business objectives.
2. Ensuring manufactured products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
3. Supporting and developing the production leadership team.
4. Managing career development within the department.
5. Promoting Lean, Continuous Improvement (CI), and other best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Identifying and leading process improvements across functions.
7. Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
8. Ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to meet customer requirements.
9. Managing housekeeping (5S), data accuracy, and KPIs for the production environment.
10. Collaborating with other functions to ensure quality and delivery performance.
11. Performing other duties as appropriate for the role.
