We are now recruiting for a Production Manager to manage and deliver all aspects of Production throughout our factory!
You will work with Production Planning , Purchasing, Engineering and Sales to delivery quality products on time and to specification!
Additionally, As Our Production Manager You Will
- Execution of the production schedule in line with customer requirements delivering quality products on time.
- Driving continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes and controls.
- Establishing and maintain up to date process documentation.
- Evaluating operational resources building capability and developing talent.
- Managing people, performance and motivating staff on an individual and team level.
- Working with H&S to ensure that all policies are followed and that employees work in a safe manner at all times.
In order to be successful in this role it's essential that you have:
- 5+ years' management / leadership in a manufacturing environment with operational responsibility in production.
- 5+ years' experience in precision parts in production series or bespoke process involving CNC machining, turning, milling and assembly of precision parts with practical experience of assembly techniques.
- Comprehensive experience of managing ISO 9001, QMS and Lean processes and tools.
It Would Be Great If You Had
- Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Tools experience.
- Broad knowledge of state of the art manufacturing methods.
- Degree of HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
